This Data Privacy Declaration informs users how and why personal data is collected, processed and used by Ilmenau Dialogue Center with ISWI e.V.  Max-Planck-Ring 7, 98693 Ilmenau, phone: +49 3677 69 1946, fax: +49 3677 69 1945, dialogue(at)iswi.org (following stated as “Ilmenau Dialogue Projekt with ISWI e.V.”) on this Webpage (following stated as “offer”). Ilmenau Dialogue Center with ISWI e.V. is the responsible for the webpage in terms of art. 4 para. 7 of General Data Privacy Declaration (GDPR).

Usage of Personal Data

Personal data is considered all information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”). Examples for these data types are name, email address or telephone number. But also data stating when a person has accessed a webpage are considered as personal data.

Personal data will be collected, processed and used at the visit of this website by Ilmenau Dialogue Center with ISWI e.V. only if this is legally allowed or the user agrees to the collection and processing (for example contact form).

Contacting Us

When contacting Ilmenau Dialogue Center with ISWI e.V. (for example per contact form or via email), personal data of the user is collected, saved and used for handling the request. This data is not transferred to a third party. The legal base for processing the data is our legitimate interest in responding your request according art. 6 para. 1 GDPR.

We inform hereby that a transmission of data in a normal, i.e. non-encryped email is considered to be an unsafe transmission of data.

Server Log Files

Ilmenau Dialogue Center with ISWI e.V. collects data of every access of our offer (so called server log files). Below is a list of log files that will be saved:

Name of the used webside, data, date and time of access, amount of transmitted data, notification of a successful connection to the webpage, type and version of browser, operating system of the user, referrer URL (last used webpage). The IP address is not saved.

Ilmenau Dialogue Center with ISWI e.V. uses these log files only for statistic analysis for improving the functionality, safety and for optimising the offer. Ilmenau Dialogue Center with ISWI e.V. reserves the right to review the log files, when there is a concrete clue for a legitimate suspicion of an illegal use.

Cookies

This website also uses so-called cookies (“session cookies”) when logging in so that the visiting user receives a unique session ID. Cookies are small text files that are normally stored on the PC of the Internet user. Our session cookies are deleted automatically on leaving the website.

The legal base for saving and processing cookies is our legitimate interest in offering an attractive and efficient website according art. 6 para. 1 GDPR.

Social Media

On our websites you will find links to facebook fanpages, twitter and other social media platforms. Facebook gives operators of fanpages a platforms where they can analyse the behaviour of registered and non-registered users. Detailed statistical information will be provided free of charge by the tool “insights” (analysis of range = collecting, analysing and reporting the use of one ore more websites and the behaviour or their users.) The statistics relate to authentified users and the related facebook pages and are accessible by administrators of the facebook-page (statistics about: users, demographics, usage und creation of content, user activity, age and gender, geographical data, amounts of accesses of the page, media consumption of viode/audio/photo, log offs). After exceeding a certain quantity of page impressions, the qualified analysis of the usage will be provided. This function currently can not be deactivated and canceled.

On our facebook fanpages there are so called “social plugins” such as the “like-button” of facebook.com, which is provided by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA.  When you open a fanpage that contains such a plugin your information will be transmitted directly to servers of Facebook in the USA and related to a user account. A transmission and relation of the data takes also place with people not registered at Facebook. We don’t have any influence on the amount of transmitted data and for what purpose they are used.

Your Data Privacy Rights

You as an individual (so called “data subject”) have rights regarding data privacy that you can ask for. They are stated in the GDPR:

  • Right of access by the data subject (art. 15 GDPR): you have the right to obtain confirmation whether personal data of you is being processed. you have the right to access information regarding: why data is processed, what data is processed, who can access it, and for how long it will be stored
  • Right to rectification (art. 16 GDPR): You have the right to obtain from us without undue delay the correction or completion of inaccurate personal data concerning you.
  • Right to erasure (‘right to be forgotten’) (art. 17 GDPR): you have the right to obtain from us the erasure of your personal data without undue delay.
  • Right to restriction of processing (art. 18 GDPR): you have the right to obtain from us restriction of processing your personal data
  • Right to object (art. 21 GDPR): you have the right to object at any time to processing of personal data concerning you.
  • You have further rights as a data subject such as the right to objection and the right to data portability. For more information see art. 12 – 23 GDPR.

You also have the right to complain at the responsible data protection supervisory authority, the ThĂŒringer Datenschutzbeauftragten, if you think the processing of your data is not legal. The complain shall be valid without adhering to a specific form.
